I came to Stake tonight for my birthday. Chef Paul came to the table to greet us and wish me a happy birthday. The server, Brian was very good. The other waitstaff and hostess were also very nice. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

Came here to celebrate my birthday with my family and weren't disappointed. The service was topnotch and the food was exquisite from the 14oz Australian grade 9 Wagyu to the porterhouse which we highly recommend. The waitress was also amazing in her explanation of the different meat cuts available to us. The ambience was classy and romantic.

They have a great daily happy hour 4-630pm on their patio and bar area! Great menu items to trial their menu. They have a petite filet 4oz on the HH menu, great steak but be aware it is served worth a bordeaise sauce. But the mussels took front stage for me with a glass of white wine.
We made a reservation last minute late night dining and it did not disappoint They don't have valet but we were there late enough on a Sunday that there was plenty of street parking It's located in Coronado so we had to cross over the bridge to get there They had a very extensive menu and we ended up ordering the tower best bang for ur buck lotsa food for 2 since it suppose to feed 3 We also ordered the taste of waygu Pineapple Express and red wine Everything was very good will definitely keep this place on our food rotation
This was a fun and fancy place with service to match. They have high end cuts of beef here, they have fancy knives to choose from which I so loved having that option. Love the selection from around the globe, they weren't that sharp. The servers were attentive and on the ball. Nothing negative could be said of this place. The steaks were incredible as well as the sides and to end a perfect meal they had basque cheesecake. For sure will return when I can get a reservation.
